Two

Today is the big day. Crusaders are here in town, ready to play, after a more than 20,000 Km flight. The Reds are also ready to beat the visitors; apparently the same Queensland team that started against the Blues last week, will start this weekend.

Red is the colour in the Queen's land, it is the first final appearance since 95 and, just lime me, a lot of people have never seen the men in "rojo" win. I came to Australia in 2005 and, disappointingly, the only award son by the Reds has been the wooden spoon they got in 2007 but the best performance until now was last year, what a transformation in only four years, specially the last two. From last to top, well done!

The improvement has been not only inside, also outside the field, a real winner attitude. Everyone here (except most kiwis) want the Reds to win, but whatever happens today, it has been a successful season for them, a positive boost for the rugby game in Australia and for the fans that barely used to come to the games; and for the half-empty stadium, I am sure it will reach a record attendance tonight.
